Welcome to UK Sailmakers Los Angeles/Central Coast, which serves the counties of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.
We are a full-service loft providing new sails, complete repair service, sail handling systems, installations, and custom sewing.
We are conveniently located at 1731 Abbot Kinney Blvd. by Marina del Rey. Also, we have lightly used sails for sale—call us!
Loft Hours:
Monday thru Friday: 9 am – 5 pm
Weekend appointments are available.

Oliver McCann
Oliver McCann, with over 45 years serving Southern California sailors, both cruisers and racers. He began his sailmaking career building his own sails out of his garage off Venice Beach.
Brendan Huffman
Brendan Huffman is a lifetime sailor and accomplished cruiser and racer with ten races to Hawaii under his belt including two Singlehanded Transpacs. He is active with many local sailing organizations working to grow our sport through more participation among youths.
Maria Moran
Maria Moran has been a valued member of our team for more than 25 years, expertly repairing sails off of both cruisers and racers.
Alisha Myers
Alisha Myers joined our team in 2022 after several years working for a marine canvas company.
Nathan Schaefer
