Ant Steward, a seasoned sailor with an impressive world record for circumnavigating the globe in a nineteen-foot open boat, brings a wealth of experience to the helm. His lifelong passion for the sea and boats, stemming from his father, Ron Steward, who pioneered fibreglass production sailboats in South Africa, fuels the loft’s dedication to excellence.

Joining Ant is his daughter, Antigua Steward, who grew up immersed in the world of sailing, inheriting the family’s deep-rooted love for the ocean. Together, they bring honesty, pride, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship to every sail they produce.
Recently, they completed an internship at the UK Sailmakers production loft in Durban, South Africa, to expand their expertise in sail construction and repair. Now equipped with new skills, they’re ready to handle all your repair needs at their own loft.
